Government bodies say officials shot two teenagers following a vehicle transporting the suspects attempted to flee police by ramming right into a patrol vehicle with an interstate ramp in Atlanta.
Miles states among the automobiles occupied by 18-year-old Michael Rhodes and 19-year-old Deondre Norris nearly struck a police officer, but hit a patrol vehicle. Miles states four officials shot in the vehicle, striking Rhodes and Norris.
Georgia Bureau of Analysis speaker Nelly Miles stated inside a news release Sunday officials observed one vehicle was reported stolen and yet another had plates owed to a different vehicle throughout a patrol Saturday evening.
Miles states Rhodes and Norris fled by walking, but were later taken. Both of them are in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital. No officials were hurt.
Miles states the 2 other juveniles within the other vehicle were arrested.
