“We have excellent water here in town. We want the residents to be confident,” noting that he works very hard on the Water Quality Report that is mailed to each residence every year, and may also be viewed online.
The plant went through substantial upgrades in 1999 but had exceeded its 20-year design life. Capacity expansion was a large part of those enhancements, supporting up to six million gallons of water per day. The town has three water storage tanks which are constantly monitored by video surveillance.
“You never know what is coming down the river,” said Zediana, referring to the condition of the water, compounds and turbidity — the clarity of the water.
An expanded lab area, new chemical containment tanks, state of the art mixers, new HVAC and fire suppression systems were just some of the improvements that were implemented during the project, including 10,000 feet of new wiring, a new 1 megawatt generator, refurbished filters, equalization tanks, sludge storage all conducted with no interruption in service to Tewksbury residents.
Hurricane clips and seismic restraints are also features of the building, components which provide additional measures of security for all types of natural disasters.
Andre Gray, a striker for Burnley, faced heavy criticism after shocking homophobic tweets from 2012 resurfaced online.
Gray did not appeal, and was set to “attend a one-to-one FA education course”, and agreed to pay a £25,000 fine.
“Firstly, I want to offer a sincere and unreserved apology to anybody I may have offended in relation to these tweets. The tweets were posted four years ago when I was a completely different person to the man I am now. I was at a very different point in my life back then – one that I’ve worked hard to move on from.
“I have a lot of regrets regarding a number of things I’ve done in the past and realise I have made some big mistakes, none more so than these tweets, but I would like to stress that I’ve worked incredibly hard to completely transform my life since that time.”
One reads: “faggottttttttt why?”
“Thankfully a lot has changed in my life since then. I have experienced a lot over the past four years and have had to take responsibility for a number of things in my life which has enabled me to mature and grow as a person since that time.
The star is also embroiled in a row over allegations of racism following an altercation with Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino last night.
The incident took place during the first half of a 2-1 FA Cup third round win for Liverpool.
Premier League footballer Andre Gray was in 2016 banned for four games by the FA over tweets suggesting that gays should be “burned”.

“Wireless power transmission could augment existing technologies and enable new paradigms for warfighter operations in denied environments, unmanned or autonomous surveillance and weapons systems,” the announcement reads.
The total ceiling for the grants is $6 million.
The other challenge: constructing a sensing, seeing, computing drone from something other than metal. The announcement also calls for new research into next-generation airplane skins that sense and even transmit data from the environment around them while also moving to allow high maneuverability. “To achieve robust, resilient, and energetically versatile agility and dexterity rivaling biological systems, robotic systems require breakthrough components featuring locally tunable material properties with embedded sensing and actuation.”
From where would the power be beamed? The announcement leaves that up to the proposer, but suggests that it could be “transmitted either from the ground or from a high-altitude platform,” read that to mean a plane overhead invisibly shooting power to the bird drone.
One of the key barriers is power distribution. Running a motor to spin a propeller is a straightforward affair. While there are multiple examples of flexible-wing drones today, such as the bird-like RobotSwift and the bat-like RoboBat, today’s best consumer bird-like drones can generally fly for just a few minutes. That works for a lunch break in the park but not great for fighting deep behind enemy lines. But what if you could juice up your drone in flight by hitting it with a laser?

Abdur-Rahkman retrieved them from home a couple of weeks ago during Michigan’s holiday break so he’d have them for Big Ten play. He donned them for the first time this season against Jacksonville in Michigan’s final nonconference game.
ANN ARBOR — Is it the shoes? Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman has worn a pair of pink Air Jordan XXXI sneakers in Michigan’s last three games and played well in all of them, leading the team in scoring twice.
More importantly, he’s played aggressively in several consecutive games. Asked Saturday if he can put his finger on anything that has inspired the shift, he said, “Just changing my attitude. I knew the Big Ten season was coming up so I had to be a little bit more aggressive on both ends of the floor. I knew I had to step up my play.”
“I joke with him, ‘You like me dialing up some plays for you, trying to put the ball in your hands?'” Beilein said after the game. “And I think he does. … You just can’t dial up four guys. You can’t even dial up three sometimes. You’re looking for mismatches but it’s much easier to go with two guys and he’s one of those two guys for sure.”
Saturday’s performance — 4/9 from the field, four rebounds, four assists, two steals, one turnover — will help Abdur-Rahkman gain more trust.
Partly due to improved ball handling that allows him to dribble with his head up, Abdur-Rahkman is a far better playmaker than he was earlier in his college career. He leads Michigan with 59 assists and has committed just 10 turnovers, the third best assist-to-turnover rate in the country.
“I was playing well when I had them last year, so I just thought, ‘Get back to the basics,'” Abdur-Rahkman said Friday, the day before Michigan beat Illinois 79-69. “I feel like I have a little bit more swag when I wear them. They look good, too. It was a no-brainer.”
Illinois falls to 0-4 in Big Ten after 79-69 loss to Michigan
Illinois was ahead 34-31 at halftime, but while the Wolverines took better care of the ball in the second half, turnovers remained a problem for the Illini (10-7, 0-4). Michigan had 12 turnovers in the first half to nine for Illinois. In the second …
