Based on the criminal complaint, Randolph initially told investigators she was inside her rural home west of Fort Worth folding laundry and watching television on May 26 as the children were using the enclosed back porch. She stated when she observed these were no more there, she went searching on their behalf and located them in regards to a half-hour later kept in the vehicle. The kids were unresponsive and Randolph stated she broke a window to achieve entry. Temperatures on that day arrived at in to the mid-90s.
