KARACHI (AFP) – Police were Tuesday hunting a tribal elder who purchased a teenage couple to become electrocuted by their own families as punishment for eloping, within the country’s latest nasty “honor” killing.
“We’re raiding different places to arrest him,” Marwat stated.

Jirgas generally adjudicate in communal disputes in rural Pakistan, mainly in the northern tribal belt, but they are rare in metropolitan areas.
The pair were associated with a wood bed and electrocuted by family people.
