“As my father increased older, he developed in the mind, his heart, and the spirit,” Laila stated. “Only one factor that never altered was his passion and gratitude for those people.”

He ongoing, “[Muhammad] is certainly not only boxing, not only entertainment, but an individual who has formed our lives and tonight his daughter is incorporated in the back.”

Prince wasn’t the only real entertainment icon honored tonight in the 2016 BET Honours.

“Listen, 2016 is a tough year,” Foxx stated when mentioning to Hollywood’s latest passings. “We lost lots of heroes and lots of great people.”

Jamie Foxx and Muhammad Ali‘s youngest daughter Laila Ali payed their respects towards the great boxer and athlete in the Microsoft Theater in La.

Without further ado, Laila made an appearance on stage to provide a sincere, emotional speech in recognition of her late father.

Foxx and the daughter, Annalise Bishop, required to the level first to praise the late boxer.

She briefly stopped to have to wait tears before ongoing her speech.

“These past couple of days my father’s generosity and love continues to be matched up with a worldwide outpouring of affection and reverence for him and our whole family,Inch she ongoing. “Many of us are honored and grateful for the love, kindness, and appreciation continues to be proven to him in exchange.  My dad also once stated if everyone loves one another around they love me, it might be a much better world. If he was here today, he’d humbly request you to pray not only for the family, but its mankind.”
