The flight, that was not recognized by RDU officials, arrived in the airport terminal around 4 p.m. after passengers grew to become ill with nausea and headaches, based on a spokesperson with Raleigh-Durham Worldwide Airport terminal.
All of the passengers were removed the plane. Following the incident was investigated, it had been determined that the passenger “passed gas,” the state stated.
An individual who “passed gas” with an American Airlines plane on Sunday mid-day forced all passengers from the jet, officials stated.
Government bodies later stated the incident would be a “medical call” and directed all queries to Wake County EMS.
RDU officials didn’t identify in which the plane was from or its destination or which kind of aircraft was involved.
