To celebrate the environment and Space Museum’s 40th birthday, the museum is remaining open through the night Friday. Visitors can stargaze within the observatory, continue scavenger tracks watching space-themed movies.

WASHINGTON — The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is opening its recently renovated Milestones of Flight gallery towards the public.
Space items curator Allan Needell states he hopes the lunar module replica may become the museum’s legendary image. This is an exact copy from the lunar lander which was abandoned around the moon.
The Washington Publish reviews (http://wapo.st/290ZD5f) that beginning Tuesday, visitors can easily see the Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall, which presently has an enormous interactive touch-display screen, revamped items labels, the USS Enterprise from Star Wars along with a lunar module such as the one within the 1969 moon landing.
