MOSCOW () – Russia’s lower house of parliament on Wednesday handed down second studying legislation that will permit the Russian government bodies to designate foreign media operating in Russia as “foreign agents”, RIA news agency reported.

Russia, which denies interference within the election, has stated it might respond in kind towards the U.S. action. Another studying continues to be needed prior to the legislation passes to the upper house of parliament for approval.
