James themself posed before it together with his arms outstretched throughout the Cavs’ championship parade a week ago, a parade that Sherwin-Williams co-backed.

When word spread that James’ banner was scheduled in the future lower, greater than 20,000 people supported a petition on Change.org to continue the good work. Petition organizer Kathy Springer of Macedonia, Ohio, authored, partly, “The banner stands for persistence, promise and pride within the Cleveland Cavaliers and East Ohio. Getting rid of this banner is a travesty as to the we call Cleveland.”

The banner, situated next door from Quicken Financial loans Arena, has turned into a popular tourist place to go for people to Cleveland. It had been installed prior to the Cavs’ home opener in October 2014 after James came back for any second stint using the team.
