Beginning Monday and lasting for roughly two days, workers using the Texas Dot is going to be replacing guard fencing on Texas 6 where it meets Texas Avenue North.
Based on a pr release, a specialist will start replacing the metal beam guard fence across the major highway beginning Monday at 8:30 a.m. Both northbound and southbound lanes of Texas Avenue around the northern finish of Bryan is going to be affected, with a few single lane closures. The southbound entrance ramp to Texas 6 from F.M. 2818/Harvey Mitchell Parkway will also suffer, prompting a detour that redirects visitors to the OSR intersection with Texas 6.
Motorists are encouraged to stay sharp and cautious about temporary lane closures in this region. Construction hrs is going to be from 8:30 a.m. till 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for the following two days. This belongs to a continuing $7.5 million project upgrading Texas 6.
