A west Madison man shot at and skipped a guy who he states was burglarizing his home Thursday, police stated.
The resident known as 911.
Police stated the resident was cooperative. The shooting is under analysis as detectives see whether the shooting was justifiable self-defense.
Madison police stated a 23-year-old Schroeder Court resident told officials he was appearing out of the restroom at 10:30 p.m. and located a complete stranger near his desk and notebook. It made an appearance the person had are available in via a sliding clear glass door.
The resident brandished a gun and screamed in the stranger, who fled the door, based on the report. The resident stated he fired a go, striving in the burglar to wound although not kill him. The bullet skipped the thief, hit drywall and wound up on the ground of the common hallway.
The thief was referred to as a Hispanic man, between 5 ft 7 inches tall and 5 ft 10 inches tall, weighing 170-180 pounds. He’d short dark hair which was slicked back, no hair on your face and it was putting on dark clothing.
