This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Apple did not have time to present the iPhone 12 at its usual time – by mid-September. The company says that new items will be delayed for a couple of weeks, and at yesterday’s online presentation they showed only new watch and tablets… At the same time, the Chinese manufacturers of near-exact copies of Apple smartphones COVID-19, it seems, did not hurt.
The first announcement of a smartphone made in the spirit of the iPhone 12 was made by GooPhone. Her GooPhone 12 Pro uses a straight edge design that previously known for leaked drawings from Apple device accessories manufacturers… The smartphone stands out with a photomodule with four cameras (48, 13, 5 and 2 megapixels) and a large, almost frameless 6.7-inch screen with an AMOLED matrix. The front camera is cut into the display at the top left corner.
The device will work on the powerful MediaTek chipset – Dimensity 1000+, which supports 5G and is almost as powerful as the top-end Snapdragon 865 from Qualcomm. The smartphone will also have 8 GB of RAM and a built-in storage UFS 3.0 standard with a capacity of 128 GB. If earlier GooPhone produced iPhone clones with budget filling and costing about $ 100, notes Gizmochina, now it looks like the company intends to release a flagship clone.
The release date and cost of the new item, which, judging by the official render, is close to the stock version of Android, has not yet been reported.
