Fnopi meets health unions, aiming to enhance the role of nurses

ROME – The National Federation of the orders of the nursing professions meets the trade union organizations. In the meeting with Cgil, Cisl, Uil and in the meetings with Fsi Usae and Nursind, the Federation analyzed and shared with the trade unions the need for discussion and the fact that nurses deserve recognition in the redesign of the profession and in contractual policies. greater than the current one. Objective: collaboration and proactive support for the growth of the profession also from the point of view of work organization, salary and career. Fnopi recalled in this regard the disbursement of specific indemnities, the issue of the exclusivity constraint, the contractual development of specializations, the safeguarding of the tasks of the organizational functions. To these arguments is also added the need to exceed the legal limits to the establishment of adequate contractual funds to give adequate responses to nursing professionalism. There was no lack of attention to adequate standards for staffing – personnel organization -, but also to the central role in the NRP. In this sense, the decree-law 80/2021 on urgent measures to strengthen the administrative capacity of public administrations, functional to the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr), in which nurses reaffirm a leading role as regards the new model of health care. Also on the table are the issues of nursing shortages (university planning, risks of devaluation, lack of care for citizens, comparison with European levels), the development of leadership and management, the management and governance of care processes, autonomous, responsible and proactive, in the various contexts of professional practice. Particular attention was paid to the issue of social and health structures in the private and affiliated world. Fnopi will continue to schedule meetings with trade unions not only to include the various issues in the laws under discussion in Parliament, but also to enhance them at the negotiating tables for the renewal of the 2019-2021 National Collective Labor Agreement. . fil / com 06-Jul-21 18:17
