Greece: 12 kept in Turkish protest

THESSALONIKI, Greece – Police in northern Greece held 12 people who left security and challenged Turkish attacks in Syria at the birthplace of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder of modern Turkey.

On Thursday the protesters entered the grounds of the Ataturk Museum in the northern city of Thessaloniki and dissolved rust before being held by police and police officers. The amenity of Turkey is shared with the museum grounds. A Greek anarchist group claimed responsibility for the incident and put a video of the protest online.
