He and Klaeb formed the winning line-up of Erik Valnes, Emil Iversen and Simen Hegstad Krüger, who dominated the 15 km freestyle race at the Norwegian center on Saturday. Russian Team II was composed of Alexander Terentev, Ilya Semikov, Artyom Maltsev and Ustugov.
The third Norwegian quartet finished third with a loss of 1.2 seconds, followed by the first Russian team with star Alexander Bolshunov. The other relays already had a significant loss, the fifth Italy was 55 seconds behind the winner.
At 11:45 the women’s relay will start with the Czech team.
