The Lakers followed their first loss of season with a seven-game winning streak.

They followed a second loss for the season by means of the Phoenix Suns, 123-115 to win Tuesday night.

With an ugly crowd singing for defense, LeBron James stepped back to hit three pointers who led the Lakers with 114-113 with 3: 3 remaining. One possession later, Kyle Kuzma met three others to extend the result to four others. And as the conservatories kept missing, the Lakers kept scoring, getting their start 10 best game since the 2010-11 season.

The Lakers are 8-2 and are in the first place in the Pacific Division.

Phoenix outperformed 50% from a three point range on 2½ quarters, and better than 50% overall by three. Meanwhile, the Lakers made 58.6% of their shots through three quarters, although they did not perform as well from a three point range.

Until the fourth quarter, the Lakers did not lead more than four.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 24 points, 12 rebounds and four helping James and put 19 points with him, helps 11 and seven back. Kuzma 23 points high season scoring.

The Suns received equal contributions, with Aron Baynes, Devin Booker and Ricky Rubio scoring at least 20 points.

There are few preseason prognosticators who chose the Suns to be very competitive in the Western Congress, but the Suns (6-4) were just so. They could not wait for the Lakers to close the game.
