Massachusetts firefighter killed by fighting fault was killed overnight

"Our city has an incredible loss with the death of Lieutenant Fireman Jason Menard," Worcester Fire Chief, Michael Lavoie, said according to Boston WFXT.

Menard died after returning to help a firefighter caught off, Lavoie said.

The fire started just before 1 in at three levels at Stockholm Stockholm's 7, and was raised to fire four alarms immediately after 2 a.m. The Red Cross said it is helping 10 to 15 people displaced them.

At least one victim appeared to be transported to an ambulance. It is unclear how many people have been injured or have their current conditions. The officers are expected to release more information at the 8 o'clock news conference.

The fire was set down but firefighters remain at the scene. Investigators from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) t declared they were present for ongoing investigation.
