The appearance of a new variant of the coronavirus – the omicron – meant that from December 1, the government introduced the so-called Alert package of restrictions.

From December 1, flights to seven African countries are banned:
People returning from these countries will be quarantined for 14 days with no release from the test.
The obligation to undergo a 14-day quarantine also applies to people traveling to Poland from countries outside the Schengen area. Relief from it may take place 8 days after the PCR test.
