The increase in OPEC production should not exceed 400,000 barrels per day

Algerian Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab said that the increase in OPEC + production of crude oil should not exceed 400,000 barrels per day in December, due to some uncertainty and risks in the oil market.

And the Algerian News Agency quoted him as saying that the situation in the oil market indicates that the increase in production of member countries of the OPEC + grouping in December should not exceed 400,000 barrels per day.

OPEC + countries agreed in July to increase production by 400,000 barrels per day per month until at least April 22, but the organization faces demands from major consumers for additional supplies.

Arkab said that OPEC+ should continue to act conservatively, bearing in mind that uncertainties and risks remain high.
