“When we settled in and started moving the ball around, I thought we were brilliant,” said Coach Dave Greene afterwards. “I would love to achieve a goal during play, but I think we have reached 15 goals from set pieces each season, so I wasn't surprised at all.”
Earlier in the day, Wilde Lake had a much more dramatic championship, fighting C. Milton Wright 1-0 in overtime which ended with a golden goal.
“We knew it was our future to be here,” said Coach Trevor Shea. “We have done a lot of things in recent years to put ourselves in this position.”
Saturday's title games Saturday at Loyola University ended the official end of the local soccer season. Sidwell Friends and E.L. are the contestants of the State State Athletic Association of Columbia State. Haynes enters the final ratings.

The Eagles completed the Catholic Catholic Athletic Conferences which were earning and DCSAA competitions.
5. St Scotland (17-1-2) LR: 3
IAC champions fell to Gonzaga on penalties in the fourth quarter of the DCSAA competition.

The Wildcats were not able to reach the decisive goal in Maryland 4A semifinals, falling, 1-0, to Leonardtown.
8. Sidwell's friends (17-3-2) LR: NR
The Christian finished their season by winning the finals in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and DCSAA competitions.
9. Georgetown Prep (12-3-4) CD: 9
St Albans managed to rip the strong Hoyas season, which beat them twice and tied them once.
10. E.L. Haynes (13-3-3) CD: NR
The public charter school forwarded sensitivity in the DCSAA competition before eventually becoming Gonzaga.
