Trump rule which requires Drug Prices in TV Ads to be blocked

The federal judge on Monday obstructed Trump's administrative rule requiring drug manufacturers to put prices in television advertisements, an integral part of the president's pressure to reduce the cost of prescription medications.

The decision of US District Judge Amit Mehta in Washington, D.C., is the latest blow on a number of administrative actions regarding health care. The Judge Mehta supported drug companies, stating that the Department of Health and Human Services rule would breach free speech and violate the statutory authority of the agency.
