US Claims Chinese Scientists Asked To Delete Initial Covid-19 Data to Cover Corona’s Origin

PEOPLE’S MIND – Initial records that could help explain the origins of Covid-19 have been removed from US databases at the request of Chinese scientists. This was confirmed by US officials on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

This information on the initial deletion of the coronavirus data adds to concerns over the confidentiality and cover-up surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak and its origins.

In March 2020, a team of academics from Wuhan submitted the sequence of the virus that causes the disease Covid-19 to the US-based archives

However, three months later, they requested that the data sequence be deleted, the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) statement said.

“Investigators who file have rights to their data and can request data retrieval,” the NIH said in a statement.

The loss of genetic sequences from databases raises questions about what else from the Wuhan outbreak has been protected, said American virologist Jesse Bloom, who published his findings.

Bloom said he did not provide exact details about where or how the virus originated.

Politicians and scientists from around the world are growing increasingly frustrated by China’s attempts to deflect investigations into the origins of the coronavirus, especially its possible leak from a Wuhan laboratory.
