JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – At least four civil lawsuits were filed against Jam’an Nurchotib Mansur alias Ustaz Yusuf Mansur at the South Jakarta District Court and Tangerang District Court.
In detail, Yusuf Mansur was sued in three cases in the Tangerang District Court and one case in the South Jakarta District Court.
The four lawsuits are listed in the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of their respective PN.

Unmitigated, Yusuf Mansur et al were required to pay a total loss of more than Rp. 98 trillion.
The four lawsuits filed against Yusuf Mansur ranged from cases of breach of promise (default) on investment in hotel/apartment funds to coal investment.
1. Coal investment default
A person who sued Yusuf Mansur regarding a breach of contract at the South Jakarta District Court was named Zaini Mustota.
Zaini’s lawsuit against Yusuf Mansur was registered on Tuesday (11/1/2022).
In case number 28/Pdt.G/2022/PN JKT.SEL, Yusuf Mansur has the status of defendant III.
Besides Yusuf Mansur, there are three other defendants, namely PT Adi Partner Perkasa (Defendant I), Adiansyah (Defendant II), and Baitul Mal Wattamwil Darussalam Madani (Defendant IV).

In this case, Yusuf Mansur et al. are required to pay a total loss of Rp. 98.7 trillion.
Several petitums (lawsuits) against Yusuf are:
- State the validity and value of the foreclosure (conservatory attachment) on the land above it stands a residential building at Jalan Ketapang Number 35, RT 001 RW 003, Ketapang, Cipondoh, Tangerang City, Banten, owned by Defendant III (Yusuf Mansur)
- Sentencing defendants I, II, III, and IV jointly and severally to pay material and immaterial losses to the plaintiff in the amount of Rp 98,718,073,610,256 (Rp 98.7 trillion) with the following details:
- Capital material loss plus total gain of Rp 98,618,073,610,256 (Rp 98.6 trillion)
- Immaterial losses of Rp. 100,000,000,000 (Rp. 100 billion)
- Sentencing Defendants I, II, III, and IV jointly and severally to pay forced money (dwangsoom) of Rp. 10,000,000 per day for failure to fulfill the verdict in the a quo case.

Later, Zaini said that the Rp 98 trillion figure was a calculation of the profit he should have received from the invested capital.
Zaini said that the capital invested in coal investment was Rp. 80 million in 2009.
At that time, Zaini was promised a profit of 11.3 percent from the investment capital.
“Then this investment has not been paid since 2010, so up to this lawsuit I submitted it 11 years ago. Up to 131 months, approximately Rp. 98 trillion. There is a calculation,” said Zaini when confirmed, Thursday (13/1/2022). ).
2. Soil tube program
Meanwhile, Yusuf Mansur faces three lawsuits at the Tangerang District Court.
The first lawsuit is related to the ground tube program.
Citing SIPP Tangerang District Court, the lawsuit is registered under number 1366/Pdt.G/2021/PN Tng which was filed by Sri Sukarsi and Marsiti.
In his petitum, the plaintiff asked the judge to state that Yusuf Mansur had raised illegal funds through a land fund program.
Yusuf Mansur was sued to pay a total compensation of Rp. 337,960,000.

In addition, the plaintiff also asked the Center for Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis (PPATK) to open the flow of funds from the plaintiffs to the land tube program.
Then, the plaintiffs also asked the judge to sentence Yusuf Mansur to pay forced money or penalty payment amounting to Rp 5 million per day to the plaintiffs from the date of the verdict.
3. Default for Hajj/Umrah hotel investment
The second lawsuit at the Tangerang District Court was registered under number 1340/Pdt.G/2021/PN Tng related to default or breaking promises related to the hajj and umrah hotel and apartment joint ventures.
There are three defendants in this case, namely PT Inext Arsindo, Yusuf Mansur, and Jody Broto Suseno.
The 12 plaintiffs demanded that Yusuf Mansur et al. pay compensation totaling Rp. 785,360,000.

A plaintiff named Lilik Herlina burst into tears when she recounted her initial investment in the Yusuf Mansur project.
The resident of Boyolali, Central Java, said that he spent Rp 12 million for the investment. The money came from his termination of employment (PHK).
“I transferred it between May/June 2013. It was from my layoff money,” said Lilik at the Tangerang District Court, Thursday (6/1/2022).
The trial of this matter has already taken place twice. Yusuf Mansur was never present directly in the trial. He is always represented by his legal authority.
4. Land tube program again
Meanwhile, the third lawsuit at the Tangerang District Court was registered under the number 1391/Pdt.G/2021/PN Tng related to unlawful acts regarding the land savings program.
There are three plaintiffs in this case, namely Surati, Yeni Rahmawati, and Aida Alamsyah.
The plaintiffs considered that the land fund program was illegal and contrary to Law Number 10 of 1998 on Amendments to Law Number 7 of 1992 on Banking.

In this case, Ustaz Yusuf Mansur was sued to pay a total of Rp 560,156,390.
The plaintiffs also asked PPATK to open their fund flow to the land savings program and asked the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to examine their flow of funds controlled by Yusuf Mansur.
They also asked the judge to sentence Yusuf Mansur to pay the plaintiffs a forced payment of IDR 5 million per day from the date the verdict was issued.
Yusuf Mansur’s Response
Yusuf Mansur does not want to comment much on the material of the three lawsuits in the Tangerang District Court. However, Yusuf Mansur said he was happy to be sued by many parties.
“I actually like it when it’s taken to legal channels. Both the police and the court. Just be professional, so it’s clear,” said Yusuf Mansur in a statement received, Friday (7/1/2022).
According to him, the lawsuits filed by several parties have actually succeeded in the vision and mission of the community.
“This journey that is being sued, in fact, in terms of the vision and mission of the community, has been very successful. Me and friends, with Allah’s permission, have brought the ummah to have sharia management assets, the only one for the time being,” said Yusuf Mansur, Friday (7/1). /2022).

Meanwhile, regarding the lawsuit in PN Jakarta Selatan, Yusuf Mansur and his legal counsel only found out about the matter from mass media reports.
However, Yusuf Mansur is said to be ready to face the lawsuit.
“As I said, it’s like, God willing, Ustad is cooperative and ready. It’s a citizen’s right, he can sue,” said Yusuf Mansur’s attorney, Ariel Mochtar, in his statement, Thursday (1/13/2022).
Ariel said that Zaini’s lawsuit to the South Jakarta District Court does not mean that Yusuf Mansur is certain to be wrong.
“It doesn’t mean that the lawsuit is clear (Yusuf Mansur fits) the content of the lawsuit and it’s clear that it’s wrong. That must be proven first in the trial process,” said Ariel.
